1989 Hess Toy Fire Truck Bank: The White Siren

The 1989 Hess Toy Fire Truck Bank is the final model in the collection to feature a built-in coin bank. It marked a return to the emergency vehicle theme and introduced a groundbreaking sound feature, all wrapped in a striking new color combination for a Hess fire engine.

The First Hess Toy with Dual-Sound Siren

The 1989 fire truck uses a mold very similar to the successful red 1986 Fire Truck Bank, but its white and green livery aligns with the current Hess corporate colors of the late 1980s. More importantly, this model upped the ante on interactive features by adding multiple sound options.

Comparison to the 1986 Model
